MVP's of Sunday - Week 7

After we witnessed the Game of the Year from the Seahawks and Cardinals, I am back for another edition of MVP's of Sunday.

Carolina Panthers @ New Orlean Saints

Panthers: DJ Moore - 25.3 PPR Points

This was the DJ Moore we have been expecting all season. Back to back weeks, he has led the Panthers in receiving yards. He burned the Saints defense deep for a 75-yard touchdown and punched one in from 12 yards out as well. He is showing a shell of his top 10 upside he showed last year, which is promising for owners going forward

Saints: Alvin Kamara - 22.8 PPR Points

Alvin Kamara is the clear-cut RB1. He put up 22 points with 0 touchdowns. He’s essentially the Saints WR2 and RB1 and his fantasy ceiling and floor is through the roof. Once Thomas comes back I expect the receiving yards to go down, but he’s still the best running back for fantasy football.

Buffalo Bills @ New York Jets

Bills: Tyler Bass - 21 Points

Tyler Bass scored all 18 points for the Bills on Sunday and although I could’ve put Cole Beasley here, KICKERS MATTER TOO. Allen and company couldn't seem to get anything going in the Jets half of the field and Bass was a key reason for their victory.

Jets: La'Michal Perine - 13.5 PPR Points

Perine filled in nicely for Bell. If you were crazy enough to start any Jet, Perine gave you a solid 12 points and seemed to control both the early and passing down work on a bad Jets offense.

Cleveland Browns @ Cincinnatti Bengals

Browns: Baker Mayfield - 29.78

Baker Mayfield started off this game with a terrible pick but finished the game near perfect with 5 touchdowns and a game-winning drive to cap his evening off. This was the Baker we all expected last year and it's good to see he didn’t fold under pressure, especially after last week

Bengals - Tyler Boyd - 27.74 PPR Points

Tyler Boyd and Joe Burrow may be one of the best young duos in the league. Boyd was the star of the show yet again today going for 11 receptions 102 yards and 1 touchdown, and it seems he is the lead receiver on the Bengals.

Dallas Cowboys @ Washington

Cowboys: Amari Cooper - 15.5 PPR Points

Amari Cooper was the lone bright spot in what was a terrible performance from the Cowboys. He caught all 7 targets for 80 yards and was Dalton's go to go guy, which would keep his fantasy value high as the Cowboys will be playing from behind a lot

WFT: Terry McLaurin - 22 PPR Points

Terry McLaurin was a steal in the late 5th to early 6th round. He has proven to be both matchup and quarterback proof. He burned Treyvon Diggs deep for a 52-yard touchdown that capped a 7 reception 90-yard day.

Green Bay Packers @ Houston Texans

Packers: Davante Adams - 44.6 PPR Points

Davante Adams did it again. 40 POINTS. WOW. The ff stateofmind called him the number one fantasy receiver before the year and they aren’t wrong. Rodgers and Adams are clicking right now and may be the best duo in the league.

Texans: Randall Cobb - 17.5 PPR Points

It's a headache to see who to start out of the Texans receiving core every week, outside Will Fuller. Sunday, Cobb had a respectable 8 rec for 95 yards which was good for 17.5 PPR Points against his former team. He had a good matchup out the slot and took advantage of it.

Detriot Lions @ Atlanta Falcons

Lions: TJ Hockenson - 16.9 PPR Points

In what has been an unpredictable year for tight ends, Hockenson has seemed to be one of the 5-6 consistent viable fantasy options this season. He hauled in the winning touchdown on Sunday with 0 seconds on the clock and was one of the highest-scoring tight ends this week.

Falcons: Todd Gurley - 22.2 PPR Points

Although Todd Gurley cost the Falcons on Sunday, he won fantasy owners their matchup. He hasn’t been efficient on the ground, but his goal-line work is keeping as a viable RB2 with low-end RB1 upside.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Tennesse Titans

Steelers: Diontae Johnson - 29 PPR Points

Welcome back Dionate Johnson. He had 9 rec for 80 yards and 2 touchdowns and when he's played, he is the Steelers WR1. Choosing between either Claypool and JuJu is going to be a headache every week, but Johnson is a consistent WR1 for the Steelers.

Titans: AJ Brown - 27.3 PPR Points

AJ Brown has proven me wrong this season. Since returning from injury, he's performed like a WR1. He can turn any play into a touchdown and he is at the top of the league for both RAC and YPT.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Las Vegas Raiders

Buccaneers: Tom Brady - 36.86 Points

Tom Brady turned back the clock with an ELITE performance Saturday. Brady has a Top 5 QB upside and this game showed us why. Any questions about his arm strength were silenced. Once AB joins this offense, this Buccaneers offense will be insane.

Raiders: Nelson Agholor - 21.7 PPR Points

Nelson Agholor led the Raiders in receiving, WHAT? He’s been a great receiver for the Raiders and a steal in free agency, given his prior repertoire.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Denver Broncos

Chiefs: Chiefs D/ST - 21 Points

The Chiefs defense was the highest-scoring Chiefs player on a day where they scored 43 points. Drew Lock was shook on Sunday as the Chiefs defense was all over the field. A Pick 6 and a returned kickoff for a touchdown also helped blow this game open for the Chiefs.

Broncos: Melvin Gordon - 12 PPR Points

Melvin Gordon was one of two bright spots on the Broncos offense in what was a disappointing day on Drew Locks's return. With a Lindsay injury, however, Gordon has RB1 upside now.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Los Angeles Chargers

Jaguars: James Robinson - 31.7 PPR Points

After two disappointing weeks from James Robinson, he came back and gashed what was considered an elite defense. He was efficient on the ground and led the Jags in receptions.

Chargers: Justin Herbert - 38.48

Herbert is the real deal. He had 403 total yards and 4 total touchdowns en route to his first win as a starter. He led the team in rushing and his accuracy throwing the ball is great. The Chargers have a bright future and a chance to win now

San Francisco 49ers @ New England Patriots

49ers: Jeff Wilson - 32 PPR Points

Jeff Wilson recorded 112 yards and 3 touchdowns before suffering an injury that landed him on IR. He was the lone running back that shined from their committee and gashed this Patriots defense.

PAtriots: Nobody

Seattle Seahawks @ Arizona Cardinals

Seahawks: Tyler Lockett - 53 PPR Points

53 POINTS!!! People who thought they won their matchup when they were up 40 were wrong. Lockett burned Patrick Peterson and Kirkpatrick as no Cardinals corner could keep up with him. Lockett and Wilson are also one of the better duos in the league.

Cardinals: Kyler Murray - 37.1 Points

Murray was calm and composed under pressure in his second year. He led his team down the field three times, one for a touchdown to cut the lead to three, one for the game-tying field goal, and one for the game-winning field goal. His mobility makes him so hard to contain and his accuracy issues were improved upon from Monday, although there is still work to be done in that compartment.
