Most Overrated Player: Seattle Seahawks
The one player I am fading from the Seahawks this year is second year receiver DK Metcalf.
To start with, the Seahawks were the sixth in percentage of run plays with 52.44% and it seems they will be going even more run heavy this year. The passing game will be even more limited and for a receiver who relies on the deep ball (due to his route running abilities) he will have to count on big plays for his points.
He finished as the WR35 last season but is now being drafted in the late fourth, early fifth as a WR19. Metcalf was inconsistent last season, having 5 games under 10 points. Not to mention, they still have Tyler Lockett, who is Russell Wilsons go to guy, especially on the play action pass.
They also have three solid tight ends in Jacob Hollister, Greg Olsen and Will Dissly, who will certainly eat into the targets meant for Metcalf and Lockett and could potentially vulture some red zone touchdowns.
Metcalf could have a great sophomore season, but I could get Tyler Lockett, who is just as boom or bust as Metcalf at a cheaper price. I also like receivers at his price range who I believe will have higher upside (DJ Chark, Terry McLaurin, AJ Brown and Keenan Allen).
Be wary of his price as he comes with a high risk, but he will have the opportunity to be a solid WR2 this season.
